Thank goodness for fresh starts!

I am so happy it is spring here in the US. How about you?! We had a long winter and I’m ready for a fresh start. The trees are starting to bud, I’ve seen my first Robin, and the sun is shining gloriously! It’s a fresh start.

It’s a fresh start even though my precious dad was taken home on March 14 while holding my mom’s hand. We all miss him and are sad but we are not sad for dad. He was ready to go and the peace he showed us will live with us forever. He was one of the really good guys.

With the whole family home to celebrate his life all of my ‘girls’ went to have pedicures – including Addi who at 2 years old got her first pedicure. You should have seen her! She loved it and is still showing her pretty toes every chance she gets!

It’s a fresh start learning to live without having my dad here with me physically. But I feel him every time the sun is shining and I know he is cheering for me.

It’s a fresh start in my business as I’m starting a brand new newsletter in May.

addi-pedicureWhat is your fresh start?

No matter what is going on in your life right now I want you to look at how you can have a fresh start.

Maybe it’s as simple as getting a pedicure and being as happy as Addi!

Maybe it’s time to forgive.

Maybe it’s time to get away from all the electronics and appreciate the outdoors.

Maybe it’s time to plant that garden you’ve been talking about for years.

Maybe it’s time to start the business you’ve been dreaming about.

Maybe it’s time to…

Action Steps:
* Take your journal and ask this question: What can I do to infuse freshness in my life? Set a time and write for 15 minutes. You’ll be amazed at all the ideas that have been locked in your mind.
* Pick one and start!

Let me know below what you’re fresh start is going to be and I will enjoy thinking about you smiling as big as Addi did at the spa.

  1. I am going to start writing in my gratitude journal again. I have let it go for too long. I love it when I do it ~ so, I am restarting tonight!
