Organization Tip of the Day

Studies have shown that every one minute you spend planning saves you ten minutes of execution.

Do you look at your home and feel totally overwhelmed by the clutter, piles and stuff? Do you wonder where to start? Do you want to run out in terror?!

It’s amazing what happens when you start to get organized in your life. You will feel better about yourself, have increased self confidence and get so much more done each day!

    So, baby steps, right? My plan right now is to keep the top of my desk clear at the end of every day, before I leave my home office for the day/night.

    Then in bits and pieces of time, to work on other piles: sort, file, shred, pass on to others, etc.
    I’m finding these very hard to do – it’s a big habit for me to change – the picking up after myself re my desk, and the de-cluttering of my piles…..Something I really want to do, but I keep fallling backwards it seems.

    I am glad to know that I am not the only one who needs baby steps! However, I keep taking the baby steps and starting over as I need to.
