What a great time I had speaking in October! Early in the month I spoke for the National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW) helping them get organized for the holidays. Then I left for San Diego to give a workshop to professional organizers on how to grow their business, and I also spoke at the IRIS (Interior Redesign Industry Specialists) Conference on "Marketing for Super Success!" I love San Diego! While I was there I met Kathryn Bechen. We've been emailing for years and it was great to finally meet her. While I was there we had a lovely lunch on the beach. I also got to hang out with fellow NAPO buddy, Laura Johnson, who is also a member of IRIS.

Then I was off to beautiful Atlanta, GA to speak to the NAPO-GA conference. Remind me to sometime tell you about my experience on the Marta train! While I was in Atlanta one of the members of the NAPO-GA chapter, Leslie Walden invited me to spend the weekend with her in her gorgeous home. We had such a great time together and I really got to see Atlanta - which was a treat!

(Between the speaking trips my husband and I spent some time with my parents which I always treasure.)

While I do love to travel it was also fun to give some teleclasses in the comfort of my office. One day I interviewed Jane Deuber of Your Profit Partners on how to Recession Proof Your Business and I interviewed Nancy Marmolejo of Viva Visibility on social networking. Then I was able to speak in my own city of Sioux Falls, SD to over 70 women to help them Organize the Holidays with Confidence. They are now going to have a stress-free holiday and have a great time with their families and friends!

It was a great month! The leaves have started to turn here in South Dakota and it is gorgeous. I'm going to try and enjoy every minute of the nice weather before it starts to get cold - and I mean cold! I hope you're having a great fall!

I was visiting with my mom the other day telling her how much fun I've been having speaking. It's not that it hasn't been fun before - it's just a lot more fun! I was telling her some of the things I've been sharing while I speak and how I'm being more 'me' when I speak. She said 6 simple words which made a huge impact "Sounds like you've found your voice!" Wow!

I've found my voice. This is huge. This means that I share what I need to say and don't let thoughts of "They might not like this", or "What if they disagree?" get in the way. This means that I am deeply cognizant of being congruent from the inside out. This means that not everyone is going to agree with me and that's ok. This means that I'm much freer to have the audience share their thoughts and we can all have huge breakthroughs.

Have you found your voice? It doesn't happen during the busy whirlwind of life everyday. It means taking time by yourself to figure out what's important to you, what are your key values, and what is your mission. Take this time for yourself.

Have you found your voice in your home and office? By this I mean does your environment reflect who you really are? Are they places of peace, contentment, and productivity or places of stress and wasted time? If they are the latter make a decision to get organized and start to feel great at work and at home. Fearless Organizing Assignment:

1. Make a decision to start speaking the truth and being you.
2. Stay focused on being congruent from the inside out.
3. Take action by taking some time to be alone with your journal and write. To get started ask yourself these questions: What do I love? What are the most important things in my life? Who are the most important people in my life? Where do I want to travel? What do I want to most share with the world? Where do you want to be 10 years from now?
4. Look around your home and office and notice the areas that make you feel anxious. That's where you need to start getting organized!
