women's business retreat.
Who do you REALLY want to hire you?
Did you know you do not have to work with everyone who asks about your services?  It's true!
Years ago when I took on the mindset that I was hiring my clients and they were not hiring me everything changed.  The first thing I did was to put together the profile or my right fit client. What attributes did I want them to have if they were going to work with me?  I looked at the tangible side and the intangible side.

For me, the intangible attributes are the most important. Things like:
  • Mission driven
  • The belief that what they do will impact another person's life for the better
  • Takes responsibility
  • Teachable
  • Positive
  • Has a great sense of humor
  • Willing to pay my fee and values my skills
  • Does the work

But, do you want to know what the most important intangible quality I want in a client?   They have to be nice!  Yes, she is a nice person.

This is very important as I work 1:1 with my business coaching clients but it became even clearer how important this was as I built my SuccessPlus Community.  When my clients get together whether it is on our monthly group Success Savvy Q&A call, whether it is in our private Facebook group, or at my yearly SuccessPlus women's business retreat everyone is amazed at the quality of the women and the sincere kindness they all show to each other.

It is a beautiful thing and I feel like a proud business mom!

The weekend of August 2 was my 4th annual SuccessPlus women's business retreat in Minneapolis, MN.  I had a room full of the nicest, most extraordinary women entrepreneurs you could imagine!  They walked away with tools, tips, strategies, and best practices to grow their business but they also left the weekend with amazing new friends.

Ready to take action?
Put together the profile of your right-fit client.  What is your target industry, group, revenue, geography, attitudes, values, beliefs, and behaviors of those you want to hire as your clients?  When this is clear to you your amazing clients will start showing up everywhere!


You will start to have more fun in your business and an increased confidence in your work!
