Note from Elizabeth

I celebrated my birthday this last Sunday and it was a great weekend of celebration. When my birthday rolls around I always think the same thing, where did this past year go?

Time is flying by so fast.  I started thinking back to 2000 when I started my professional organizing business.  My business has since changed in so many ways from being an organizer and then adding speaking, writing 3 books, and adding business coaching.  I had no idea back in 2000 all that would happen.

I know the main reason I have been able to constantly grow and change my business is that I am consistently stepping out of my comfort zones.

How about you?  Are you staying safe?  Are you doing the same things in your business you did 2 years ago?  Is it time to step out, or maybe be pushed out of your comfort zone?  I hope so! If you'd like to work with a coach who understands fear and facing fears - check out the side panel for my coaching options. There is one perfect for you!

My theme for my business this year is Everything Platinum. This means that I'll be stepping up in everything I do.  If you want this, too I'd love for you to join me.  Visit my online calendar and we can set up a time to visit.

Have a great month!
Success Story

Recently I presented a one-hour program "Clear the Clutter - Change Your Life!"  to a spouse's group for a state-wide association at the Convention Center - about 100 women and 1 brave husband.  That's not news since I get 2-4 of those per year, but this time I asked for a nice fee and they did not even blink or try to negotiate it! The group was riveted and even stayed late asking questions, and it was LUNCH TIME!

This is all just to let you know your impact on my life and world since it is  totally due to your stellar training and enthusiastic encouragement.  Thank you more than you know

,when I walked into my Fitness 19 gym recently I noticed this whiteboard promoting a Ropes Class. I'm not a 'class' person but walked over to see what it was all about.

I started laughing out loud when I read who could and could not attend this class.

Who can come:  Anyone that is ready to work!
Who cannot come:  Whiners

Love this!  Can you imagine teaching a ropes course with whiners? That would have to be the longest hour in the world.

An important principle I coach my clients on is having a profile of your right-fit client.  If you don't have this profile you are marketing to anyone and everyone and that is not only exhausting but expensive.

When you have the profile of your right-fit client you can target your marketing messages just for them. You can now spend your time, energy, money, and creative on the people you really want to help.

There are two sides to the right-fit coin:  The demographic side (or tangible) and the environmental side (or intangible).

Demographic parameters:
Target industry
Target market
Target decision maker
Annual Revenues

Environmental parameters:

It's important as you put together your profile to fill out each of these parameters. The more we can identify these the more we can understand when in conversation with a prospect if it makes sense to work with them.

When you know your profile you will start seeing them everywhere!  You'll be amazed at the great ideas that start popping in your head of how to reach them, get them to know you, and then hire you.

But, when all is said and done be sure you include the parameters that Fitness 19 used for their Ropes Course.  Only work with people who want to do the work AND no whiners!

The biggest difference between entrepreneurs who make it and those who don't is their confidence. Build your confidence by taking a stand about who you will and won't work with in your business.  Life gets so much easier!

Now is your time,  .  2012 IS YOUR YEAR.

Have a glass of lemonade with me!

We are halfway through the year.  Is your business where you thought it would be?

If there is room for improvement let's spend 30 minutes together and I'll help you:
  •  Identify any challenges you may be having with your business
  • Uncover what may be keeping you stuck
  • Help you get reacquainted with your dream for your business
  • Leave our time together excited with some new ideas!

Sometimes all you need is someone to listen and help get you back on track.  I'm a great listener and have some time in the next few weeks to have a cup of coffee or ice drink with you via the phone.  Choose the time for your coffee talk here and I can't wait to connect with you!

, thanks for taking the time to read the 'Growing Your Business with Confidence' tip and I'm excited to help you accelerate your success. Of course we want to grow our business and make more money, but let's not forget - the busier we are the more people we get to help. And the happier our clients are the more they will tell others!
