Our daughter, Abigail, is home from Houston for Christmas. We thought it would be fun to have a pizza night with Addilynn and Alexander.
They were great until dinner was about done. I looked over at Alexander and he had put his head on his arm on the table and was falling asleep.
Abigail came to the rescue and took him in her lap. He cuddled in and fell asleep.
I think it’s fascinating how real children are in life. They are very clear on their feelings! And, when they are tired they do what they need to do.
We are now in the fabulous Christmas season. How blessed we are!
But, too many times during December we can forget why we are celebrating Christmas and go overboard in every aspect of our life.
Know when it’s time to call it a day. Take care of yourself. Rest. Spend time with people you love and stop attending events because it what’s you are ‘supposed’ to do.
Make Christmas special; not stressed!
I wish you and all the special people in your life a blessed Merry Christmas!
