Confidence from the Heart

You may have followed me on my recent adventure where I blogged for 365 days on something that I was thankful for every day and I accompanied each post with a picture.  It was an amazing journey! Look on the right side of this page under Categories and click on ‘Days of Gratitude’ if you’d like to read some of the posts.

As I look back on the 365 days an outcome appeared that I did not expect.  Do you know that when you feel grateful you are more confident?  Yes, it’s true.

Just try and feel bad about yourself at the same time you are feeling grateful.  It’s not possible.

My gift to you for this Valentine’s month of 2012 is to ask you to make a conscious effort to not only think about what you are grateful for at the end of very day but many times during the day.  Just watch what happens!

The gift will be a wonderful new and increased sense of self confidence and when that happens…watch out!

Let me know below what you are grateful for today.

    This may sound silly, but…
My office manager is sick today, and I have a wonderful office assistant who is able to come into the office and just pick up with whatever needs to be done!

I am grateful for two new organizing jobs I received yesterday for the month of February. You are so right, Elizabeth. I feel very confident.

I am thankful for 37 years of dairying with my husband & the decision we made to sell out the end of March & take some time off together! It was a terribley hard decision to sell our business- but it seemed like it was time. Thanks for all your helpful coments. Terri

I am thankful for my family. After working with my daughters and daughter-in-law this past weekend painting for my daughter Melissa, I found that they are following in their mother’s footsteps. I have been told that I am very organized and almost obsessive compulsive about it. It’s so nice to see that they did pick up some good traits from me!

  8. Of course they did, Lee Ann!
