365 Days of Gratitude – Day 365: A year in my life

I have conflicting feelings today.  On the one hand I feel fantastic that I made a commitment 365 days ago to post what I am grateful for every day with a picture for one year. And, I did it!  On the other hand I feel like I’m leaving a good friend.

It has been wonderful each day to think back and write about what  I am grateful.  Were there some days that I was tired and didn’t feel like it? Yes.  But I did it anyway.  Looking back I can say that this was one of the best years personally and in my business.  Isn’t that interesting?

I thought it would be fun for my last post to pick out some of my favorite pictures from the past year.  I hope you enjoy the ‘picture’ walk through memory lane and I would love it if you would post below which of the posts this past year were your favorites.

I am so grateful for this opportunity to share a year of my life with you and I want to thank so many of you who posted and shared your life with me.

Love and confidence,

365 Days of Gratitude – Day 364: Just the right size

The flu I cam down with last week has lingered and lingered but today I finally felt like I could eat some real food.  But not too ‘real’.  I suggested to Bruce that we go to Camille’s.They have the best tomato soup and with a 1/2 sandwich it sounded just about right.  In Bruce’s eyes this is not a ‘man’ place to eat but he came along.  I thought it was delicious and I’m grateful for restaurants that have great food and in normal size portions.  To be honest, I’m always glad not to cook!

365 Days of Gratitude – Day 363: Remember who brought you to the dance

With Jeffrey Hayzlett, author of The Mirror Test and Running the Gauntlet

I had another great day.  I spent the afternoon giving a VIP Virtual Day to a new coaching client in New Jersey.  We had a blast putting together her action plan and giving her new ideas to revitalize her business in 2012.

But, this morning I met Jeffrey Hayzlett at his book signing for his new book “Running the Gauntlet”.  He is a local boy done good!  He had various businesses years ago in South Dakota but most recently resigned his position as CMO of Kodak and is now a business expert, author, and speaker. In fact, we will both be speaking at the NSA Winter Workshop in Dallas in February.  Today was the pre-release of his new book and he had a book signing in Sioux Falls.  As to why he would re-release his book in South Dakota the day before the national release in New York  he quoted a popular saying, “Remember who brought you to the dance.” I am so grateful for the chance to meet someone like Jeffrey and for the reminder that no matter how far we go to never forget home.

365 Days of Gratitude – Day 362: Almost like I’m there

This afternoon and evening I gave a Private Virtual VIP Day to a client in Australia.  I have the best career!  We used Skype and it was so cool knowing I was speaking to someone so far away. We could easily send things back and forth via e-mail and I used to let her see my computer screen when needed. I am so grateful that because of technology I can help international clients and if feels like we are just down the street from each other.  Visiting Australia is at the top of my bucket list and now I feel I’m one step closer!

365 Days of Gratitude – Day 361: Say goodbye to 2011

I am so grateful to spend the evening before the New Year in church thanking God.  The sermon tonight was “Enjoying the LIFE God Wanted You to Live” and there are 2 principles:  Love God and love people.  When I do that I am serving my purpose in life and then life is very enjoyable! As I think back over 2011 I am so grateful for so much that I could go on and on but in particular my family and our health, for the love in our family, for our new granddaughter, Addi, that Bruce and my businesses are thriving, for all the amazing women who put their trust in me as their business coach, and that every day we get to start fresh .  I wish you all a blessed and fantastic 2012!

365 Days of Gratitude – Day 360: Is it time for you?

Today I had an appointment for a facial in the afternoon.  I considered cancelling since I was sick yesterday but felt a lot better today so I went. I am so glad I did.  I got to slide between heated blankets, listen to soothing music, and have wonderful Kim care for me for an entire hour. Heavenly!  I’ve realized it’s important to do thing to take care of myself and I am so grateful for people like Kim whose job includes pampering others.

365 Days of Gratitude – Day 359: Only nice clients

I came down with the flu yesterday and still feeling awful today.  My day was filled with coaching client calls and a Virtual VIP Day.  As the morning progressed I kept hoping I would feel better but it wasn’t happening so I reluctantly started asking my clients if they could reschedule.  I have the nicest clients!  They all said it was no problem to move their appointments to another day. One of my right-fit clients parameters is that they have to be nice. They proved it today. I am so glad that I only work with the best. Now I’m going back to bed!
