And there she goes

addi-bikeAddi just got her first 2-wheel bike. She could not be more excited. For years she has been on bike rides with her parents in a seat on the back of one of their bikes.

Now, it’s her turn.

I watch in amazement as she rides down the sidewalk with her head held up as high as it can go. You can just see her pride and confidence beaming out of her.

I want to be more like my 5-year-old granddaughter. What happened to excitement around my achievements? What happened to wanting to share them with the world?  What happened to the joy of doing something I love to do?

How about you? Do you want to get it all back, too?

Let’s start today. Think of a past achievement that was exciting at first but now it’s old stuff to you. Do you know that many people are not able to do whatever that is that you do?

One of my achievements is using Mind Mapping software to prepare and give presentations. I love it!! But, how often do I talk about it? Hardly ever.

What is yours? I want to know.
