365 Days of Gratitude – Day 71: Future ideas that keep life interesting now

Someday my book will be here!

I have wanted to write my life-story/inspirational book for years. Years. It’s just not happening.  I was talking to my business coach yesterday and he told me to go to a book store and find books that I like.  The size, the cover, the paper quality, the font, etc.  Tonight Bruce and I went to Barnes & Noble and did just that.  I found some ones that had a quality or two of what I wanted…and then I found it.  I found a book that is the size I’d like, has the paper quality, and even though it is a hard cover book the front cover is padded.  Love it. I can now picture my book and I feel the creative juices flowing.  I took my coach’s advice one step further and went and stood in the aisle where I want my book to be and visualized it on the shelf.  Now I’m excited! I am so grateful for future ideas that keep life interesting now.

What are you grateful for today?

What is your future idea?

I am glad I read your post before going to bed. I am writing a book myself and I am going to the bookstore to get a vision for the finished product. The hardest part is starting. Now it’s flowing. When I get stalled, I just have to force myself to sit down and the juices start flowing again. Thanks for the great idea!! Oh yes, and I am grateful that it was nearly 70 degrees today!! It’s SPRING!!

  2. I love that idea!

And I can’t wait to read your book 🙂
