365 Days of Gratitude – Day 35: Commitment and the people who keep them

My parents just celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.  Isn’t that just amazing?  That is a commitment and they kept it through good times and bad times.  I think it’s real easy to make commitments but another story to keep them.  I’m proud of my parents and am so grateful to them for showing me what is possible through support, care, love and believing in the commitment they made to each other.

What are you grateful for today?

Good job, honey. Must make a statement why my beautiful new coat was not worn. I acdtually was still sick at Christmas, and old, and the conclusion was that that shorter coat might be cold for me. Hah~ I WORE it today, great, buttoned up nice, warm as toast. Love the hood today, again, well done! It appears that smile of miine would look better a bit more hardy than the slit on the picture. Well, you honor us and we thank you. Have a safe trip Tues. and let us have a happy time together. We have much chocolate left of course,. If you did not like those brownies, I can stir up another set? Let the good days come, we are ready. Love you back and front and sideways. Sean too.

    Gram again.

  2. Love your mom’s comment 🙂

I have never heard a “good job” from my mother – EVER! There’s some serious issues for therapy, I’m sure, except I’m too busy 🙂

Congrats to your mom and dad – 65 years is awesome!

how many for you and Bruce, Elizabeth?

Then I’m telling you ‘great job’, Marcia! You are doing great work and helping so many people. It will be 32 years for us on February 24.
