365 Days of Gratitude – Day 236: Amazing courage

Tonight we saw the movie “The Help”. Thank you, Kathryn Stockett, for writing the book this movie was based on. This is a story of black maids working for white women in the 60’s in Mississippi.  The way the maids were treated is horrendous.  Kathryn interviewed the maids and told their story.  This took amazing courage on the maid’s part.  I am so grateful for people who have the courage to step up and expose the truth no matter how hard and dangerous that may be.

What are you grateful for today?
