365 Days of Gratitude – Day 202: It’s that season

When we were in Iowa on Saturday my dad gave us a dozen ears of sweet corn – Iowa grown.  We had some tonight for supper and it was amazing! There’s something about eating sweet corn that brings back memories of being on my Uncle Gary and Aunt Betty’s farm in the summer. Running through the barns, playing hide and seek in the hay mow, and then joining the family for a wonderful dinner with all the sweet corn we wanted to eat.  I am so grateful for the memories on the farm and how my aunt would always try to fatten me up!

What are you grateful for today?
