365 Days of Gratitude – Day 198: Getting more done the ‘cool’ way

I always have lots of projects going on in my business. I’ve tried various ways to keep track of them but they would end up in piles on my desk.  As a professional organizer this just wouldn’t do!  I was hanging out in Office Max the other day and was looking at Peter Walsh’s InPlace System products.  I saw this upright system that holds file folders at a slant so I can see the labels all at once and the system would sit on top of my desk.  Bingo!  Nothing makes me happier than finding a new, cool organizing product. I set it up and it works wonderfully.  I take out the project I’m working on and when I’m done I put it back in the system and take out the next project. Everything I need for the project is in the file folder and I am getting so much done.  I am so grateful for cool ways to be more productive.

What are you grateful for today?

I just returned home with my husband. We went to Omaha to celebrate our 39th anniversary. We enjoyed the water show on the water. David got some great pictures and we got in a good walk. (Wish I hadn’t worn those cute sandals, however!!) Then we went to the Old Market and ate at the Upstream Brewing Company and then took a carriage ride in a lighted Cinderella coach drawn by a horse. It was wonderful!! I appreciate my husband!!
