365 Days of Gratitude – Day 115: Services that make life easier

I have spent years using a flat iron to straighten my hair which was a lot of work so a year or so ago I let my hair go curly.  That’s fine and I liked it ok but it was as much work as straightening my hair and I liked my hair better straight. So, what to do? Enter Kim and the her amazing straightening service.  Who knew? I spent 2 hours with Kim this morning and now I have wonderfully straight hair and it will last for 6 months. without much work on my part.  I love it!  I am so grateful for people and services that make life easier.

What are you grateful for today?

    You look beautiful!

Don’t you just love it when life gets easier?? I used to drive 30 minutes once a week to lead a prayer group. It got harder and harder to go with the weather and our traveling schedule, etc. Now I do a 30 minute conference call once a week from my home (or my car when we are traveling). Everytime I dail the number I am so grateful for the convenience of it!!! I can even do it in my pj’s and without makeup!!!!

  3. Elizabeth says:

Yes, I do and what a great idea to lead your prayer group via phone.

  4. Elizabeth says:

    Thanks, Kathleen!

  5. Becca Clark says:

You and your hair look wonderful!

  6. Elizabeth says:

Thanks, Becca. I think I’m going to love this!

  7. Is that the Brazilian hair treatment I hear so much about? I am thinking of getting it done too 🙂

Funny, I said the same thing to my colleague the other day – it takes more work to have my hair in its naturally curly state than to have it straight

  8. Elizabeth says:

Yes, Marcia, and I love it!
